Jim O'Hern

Jim is a co-founder and Managing Partner of PVOne, with primary responsibilities for the operational, legal, and regulatory matters of the company.

 

Jim has extensive experience in the solar industry and deregulated energy markets.  He previously served as President of Consensis LLC, an energy consulting firm where he represented and consulted large public and private energy user groups, including the New Jersey Food Council and Diocese of Camden. Prior to Consensis, Jim was Of Counsel at Gibbons LP, where he represented regulated and deregulated power companies. Jim served as Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey and was also a Staff Attorney at the Ratepayer Advocate, a division within the NJ BPU, where he worked on numerous utility matters.  Jim is currently a Partner in Energy Procurement Partners, an energy advisory and brokerage firm, and co-founder and Board Member of Enerstar S.A., a solar thermal development company based in Barcelona, Spain.

 

Jim graduated from Fairfield University with a B.S. in Finance and has a JD, Cum Laude, from Seton Hall Law School.  He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
